Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree related field and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in product/portfolio/Program management
  • Strong experience in in delivery of complex programs (preferably in building data platform and Business intelligence solutions)
  • Experience and Exposure in delivering solutions involving Machine learning models and generative AI
  • 2 to 5 years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)
  • 3 to 6 years experience leading technical projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools (e.g. project scheduling, budgeting, status reporting)
  • Ability to write complex reports in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven leadership and project management skills
  • Strong experience of release management experience (End to end)
  • Strong program management experience
  • Scrum master experience in a product management organization
  • Deep experience in Agile development concepts
  • High people skills and collaboration
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and enable cross team collaborations
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decisions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of key Platform initiatives - schedule, risk and resource management (data pipeline initiatives)
  • Collaborate with product management – Solution concept, feature intake, feature prioritization and release planning
  • Collaborate with product management teams to publish the objectives, initiatives for initiative scope
  • Collaborate with product engineering for initiative specific team capacity & estimation, sprint execution, sprint deliverables
  • Collaborate with product QA and define process for initiative specific scope
  • Identify deliverables and documentation scope across all teams during initiative planning phase
  • Manage RACI for all roles involved in the initiative delivery
  • Set up Initiative based tracking and management – tools for management for initiatives (e.g in ASANA, confluence, SharePoint)
  • Collaborate with product managers to complete the decomposition and identify the initial scope release
  • Tracking of requirement deliverables such as JPD tickets, solution concept, ground truth
  • Enable co-ordination of Business analysts to work with product design team to create journey maps, low fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes
  • Publish the initiative scope and timelines with an initiative schedule
  • Enable discovery workshops across product management, engineering and QA
  • Define detailed implementation plans, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and timelines, and manage the implementation backlog in collaboration with the development team
  • Monitor the progress of the initiative and product weekly release status report
  • Identify risks and plan for risk mitigation plans for each data pipeline initiative
  • Manage scrums to build the product (based on the initiative scope) based on planned agile sprint
  • Collaborate with QA for SIT & validation activities
  • Collaborate with cloud operations team deployment across environments
  • Collaborate with release management team for release planning activities (documentation, release notes) (Specific to the initiative scope in to mainstream platform releases)
  • Provide release updates to other functional groups – product support, product services, sales and marketing team
  • Lead collaboration efforts with initiative team for triage and to enable support across Product, engineering and QA for post release issues
  • Identify and resolve technical and logistical issues, preventing potential delays in product implementation
  • Promote agile methodologies and tools to optimize the implementation process and enhance team efficiency
  • Aid the Product Innovation and Customer Success teams with creation of product implementation status reports
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation process, from planning and design to deployment and post-launch support
  • Enable setting up of hyper care team for post release support
  • Lead collaboration efforts with product support team (specific to data platform) for triage and to enable support across Product, engineering and QA for post release issues
  • Enable collection of post release metrics to aid release planning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (for the initiatives release context perspective) between business stakeholders, clients, and the implementation team, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
  • Other duties as assigned
