Join Thinkific's team as a Senior Manager, Sales to build and lead a high-performing new business sales team focused on Thinkific's Plus customers. Coach and develop Account Executives to improve conversion and efficiency, while also contributing to sales leadership, process building, and performance management. This role requires a proven track record of success in sales leadership, team management, and revenue generation. You will be responsible for team metrics, forecasting, and ensuring data accuracy in the CRM. The ideal candidate is a high-energy leader with experience coaching teams through mid-size deals and a passion for building a positive and productive work environment. Requirements

  • Are a high energy, high integrity leader that has a track record of driving results
  • Have spent 5+ years managing teams of 6+ people in a variety of roles, within a medium-sized organization
  • Possess 3+ years of experience coaching teams through mid-size deals
  • Understand how to motivate your team through performance coaching and people development
  • Can demonstrate a proven track record of excellence and achievement as both an Account Executive and Sales Leader
  • Have the desire to get your hands dirty and make a difference

Responsibilities

  • Coach Account Executives on deal strategy, pipeline development, and prioritization to improve conversion and efficiency
  • Recruit, develop, coach and lead the new business Sales team as Thinkific looks to expand
  • Be a part of the Sales Leadership team, building processes, playbooks, career paths, and appropriate measurement frameworks for Account Executives
  • Work to develop Account Executives on call client calling and demo coaching
  • Be responsible for team metrics and results, as well as for managing performance for those on your team
  • Support Account Executives during deal negotiations and discussions with legal and compliance teams (both internally and on the client side)
  • Provide accurate forecasting on an ongoing basis to the VP, Head of Thinkific Plus
  • Ensure all data is managed and updated appropriately by Account Executives in our CRM
  • Promote a performance culture by celebrating wins, recognizing contributions, and setting clear expectations
  • Look for new revenue opportunities and strategies for Thinkific Plus, outside of the status quo
  • Collaborate with department heads across the business to impact wider business strategies based on direct customer feedback
  • Build an engaged, high energy environment where people love coming to work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Are familiar with creating dashboards and reports in Salesforce
  • Hold a track record of leading a team of top performers, who love working with you and are inspired to come to work every day
  • Have an expert understanding of MEDDICC and Gap Selling methodologies
  • Loves to learn and grow. They’ve found (and keep looking for) ways to level up their skills in this field, whether that’s through formal education, gaining professional experience, or maybe even building their own business
  • Have knowledge of inbound marketing
