Summary
Join Wiz, a rapidly growing cloud security company, as our Senior Marketing Operations Manager. You will oversee BDR operations and the technical aspects of marketing operations, including implementing, managing, and optimizing marketing and BDR technology systems and processes. This crucial role aligns marketing strategies with BDR goals, ensuring the necessary systems, processes, and personnel are in place to achieve and surpass global targets. You will partner with the BDR organization on strategic projects, manage lead lifecycle and compliance, collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize lead scoring, troubleshoot issues, run analyses, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires significant experience in marketing operations and a strong understanding of the MarTech stack.
Requirements
- You have 6-8 years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, BDR operations, or similar roles
- You’re knowledgeable of all facets of the MarTech stack for typical B2B tech companies
- You’re analytical and have experience scaling systems across marketing and sales
- You’re an excellent communicator and collaborator at all levels of an organization
- You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment
Responsibilities
- Partner with the BDR organization on strategic projects that impact the BDR org, such as migrating to a new territory model or rolling out new BDR segments and teams
- Oversee lead lifecycle, scoring, and GDPR compliance across marketing and BDRs, and manage orchestrations in accompanying technologies, like Marketo, Salesforce, and OpenPrise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, IT, and revenue ops to align marketing initiatives and technologies with business objectives and priorities
- Optimize lead scoring workflows and processes to streamline operations, improve productivity across BDRs and marketing, and maximize ROI
- Investigate, diagnose, and solve roadblocks that prevent BDRs from working accounts effectively
- Run analysis on BDR compensation, target achievement, and incentive plans, and work with sales leadership, finance, and legal to get the plans approved
- Run bi-weekly leadership meetings between marketing and BDRs to create alignment between the two organizations and ensure goals and objectives are being met
- Troubleshoot and identify issues and patterns with lead distribution and scoring to determine ways to adjust our models to meet business objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize marketing processes, workflows, and data management practices
