Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience in event planning and management, specifically trade show and conference execution
  • Ability to travel domestically (up to 35% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive planning and execution of regional and national trade shows, conferences, and regional events, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Coordinate event design and onsite execution with our Demand Generation Product Portfolio, Brand Strategy, and Network Development teams to maintain consistent branding, successful lead generation tactics and experiential marketing tactics
  • Manage event ROI, budgets, vendor negotiations, contracts, and timelines, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
  • Evaluate and improve trade show workflows and operations. Utilize event management platforms like Monday.com, Hubspot, and Salesforce to track, analyze, and improve event performance metrics
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for more junior members of the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a high volume of events with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in event management and CRM software (Monday.com, Hubspot, Salesforce preferred)
  • Demonstrated capability in budget management and ROI tracking
  • Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
