Requirements
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in media buying, with a proven track record of managing complex and high-budget campaigns
- Extensive knowledge of digital advertising platforms and media buying techniques
- Proficiency in media buying tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager), as well as analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, ComScore)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Experience managing and optimizing campaigns across paid social, paid search, programmatic, and display channels
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining a strong adherence to best practices
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and staying ahead of industry trends
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive media buying strategies that align with overarching marketing goals and objectives
- Campaign Optimization: Lead the optimization of media campaigns through advanced data analysis, adjusting strategies to enhance performance and maximize ROI
- Budget Allocation: Oversee the allocation and management of significant media budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
- Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate with media vendors to secure the best possible rates and placements for advertising campaigns
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary client contact for all media buying-related matters, providing regular updates on campaign performance
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, analytics, and client services, to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior media buyers, sharing best practices and helping to develop their skills
- Market Research: Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in media buying and digital advertising
