Join GeorgeJon as a Senior Pre-sales Engineer, leveraging your expertise in eDiscovery applications to support prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. You will analyze customer needs, demonstrate how our solutions meet those needs, and help the sales team develop and price proposals. This highly technical, remote position requires a deep understanding of eDiscovery software and IT platforms. You will lead prospects in understanding their needs, design client solutions, and collaborate with internal teams. The role involves creating implementation plans, maintaining documentation, and staying current on market trends. This is a remote position with excellent benefits.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical consulting
- A proven track record of driving growth in the eDiscovery or legal software industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Expert understanding of the EDRM Framework
- Advanced knowledge of Relativity, NUIX, and/or Reveal software platforms
- Exceptional verbal communication, networking, and relationship building skills
- Ability to converse with prospects at all levels, including executives
- Detail oriented with a high level of quality assurance for all deliverables
- Capacity to manage own workload efficiently as well as balance multiple, simultaneous sales cycles
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment to prospect and develop new business
- Ability to pivot and adjust product messaging according to the customer’s use case
- Ability to travel for client engagements up to 15%
Responsibilities
- Present GeorgeJon’s products and services to current and prospective customers with a master understanding of the various functionality, workflow, and value of the solutions we offer
- Lead prospects in understanding their needs and setting clear expectations and scope for a prospective sales opportunity
- Listen to and understand the underlying questions from customers, tailoring solutions accordingly, as well as design the client solution based on all gathered requirements and detailed specifications
- Analyze complex customer environments, provide a detailed list of requirements for the proposal process
- Evaluate hardware and software options, working with vendor procurement teams for sourcing and delivery teams for appropriate project scoping
- Communicate recommended hardware and software configuration options, including their costs and tradeoffs, and the impact of these on the overall budget
- Support complex sales presentations, solution overviews and product demonstrations
- Develop the structure for a sound implementation plan based upon the elements proposed during the scoping process
- Create and maintain the templatized documentation used to present gathered requirements and proposed solutions to clients
- Collaborate with Technical Engineers to resolve technical issues and provide hands-on support as needed
- Help to develop the competencies of Technical Engineers by sharing knowledge and expertise
- Provide feedback to prospective customers’ technology and sales leadership related to concerns presented during product demonstrations
- Perform health checks for a quick assessment of the state of a prospective customer’s environment to propose appropriate products and services
- Collaborate with sales and customer support teams for positive customer and prospect experiences by presenting knowledgeable, timely, and organized communication in all opportunities
- Support product demonstrations and technical deep dives into a given proposed product/service
- Stay current on eDiscovery market trends and emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in cloud-delivered legal software or eDiscovery software/services
- Relativity Infrastructure Specialist and/or Relativity Certified Administrator is a big plus
- Additional Relativity, Reveal, LAW, Brainspace and NUIX training and/or certifications are a plus
