Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree
- This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government
- 5+ years of Federal procurement, purchasing, or contracting experience
- Experience in negotiations and supplier management
- Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and agency specific regulations
- Ability to read and interpret federal regulations and related acquisition policies and guidance, and to apply those regulations in context
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement lifecycle from planning to closeout
- Perform procurement activities in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
- Perform market research, qualification, and source selection for potential suppliers
- Evaluate supplier quotes and proposals to ensure price or cost reasonableness
- Timely respond to inquiries about order status, changes, cancellations, and returns
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate effectively and professionally with internal customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Recommend and help implement process improvements to scale and optimize procurement activities and practices
- Participate in special projects

- Innovative, with an interest in working closely with STRโs Procurement Manager and Team Lead to optimize our contracting practices, while maintaining compliance with our core contractual and regulatory requirements

- Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external customers and partners as well as colleagues at all levels across the organization
- Thirst for excellence and enthusiasm to expand his/her experience and take on additional responsibilities in contracting activities (including but not limited to Government systems compliance and subcontract administration)
Benefits
- Salary Range: $95,000 to $110,000
- This position may be remote or hybrid at our Woburn, MA, and Arlington, VA locations
