Summary
Join Splash Financial as a Senior Product Analyst and lead the development of a new company-wide analytics function. You will be responsible for building an analytics structure to support data-driven decision-making, partnering with the data team to enable self-service data access, mastering the borrower funnel analysis, and generating insights for optimization and growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Python, and excellent communication abilities. You will collaborate with various teams to define KPIs, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a probably-quantitative field: business, finance, data, economics or a related field. Any degree works, realistically
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, strategic finance, business operations, or related fields β preferably in a fintech or consumer marketplace company
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate messages that link business issues, financial results, and strategy
- Ability to independently validate large data sets with proven ability to organize and interpret data to surface insights
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, python and spreadsheet tools is critical for the role
- Experience setting up and analyzing A/B tests
Responsibilities
- Be the lead βAnalystβ for the company by building a new analytics structure to support great decision making
- Partner with our data team to build the data analytics function that will allow you and the Product team to self-serve all the underlying data and derive insights for them
- Master and own our borrower funnel and all analysis therein, which is the lifeblood of our company (we want to optimize and be able to offer a loan to everyone who applies at Splash)
- Generate insights and recommendations for how we should drive optimizations, growth and ultimately success for the company
- Partner with Credit, Marketing, and Company wide Product teams to brainstorm measurement, attribution and impact for new bets and initiatives
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product performance and success
- Analyze any and all data you can source to identify areas for improvement and optimization throughout the company

- You're entrepreneurial and have a track record of being able to identify issues and develop creative solutions with limited guidance, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing circumstances
- Expertise in top-of-funnel analysis, revenue analytics, statistical forecasting
- You're detail-oriented and organized, focused on efficiency and accuracy and always looking to implement better solutions
