Summary

Join Synthesia, a fast-growing AI video communications platform, as a Senior Product Analyst. You will own the product analytics framework for the Editor product area, creating measurement and tracking plans, defining metrics, and understanding user behavior. Collaborate with PMs, Data Engineers, and other analysts to evolve analytics capabilities. Work within the DBT pipeline to shape analytics tables. Validate qualitative insights, understand success metrics for strategic investments, and help unlock new uses and drive revenue growth. You'll need 5+ years of experience as a product analyst/data analyst, strong analytical and communication skills, and deep SQL familiarity. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product analyst/data analyst working on digital products where your analysis has helped shaped product direction
  • Strong analytical skills. You can turn ambiguous questions into well defined metrics
  • Strategic and business skills, allowing you to understand and anticipate the questions that will impact the company
  • Proven track record of influencing product direction
  • Effective communication skills. You excel when utilizing data visualization to communicate data-driven decisions
  • An approach grounded in pragmatism over perfectionism. You know when the data you have is good enough to answer a question and you are comfortable in contexts where pace of delivery can be of greater importance than the perfect model
  • Deep familiarity with SQL

Responsibilities

  • Own the product analytics framework for our Editor product area, creating the measurement & tracking plan for capturing the right data, and defining the metrics and methodology to build our understanding of our users’ behavior across this crucial product area
  • Partner with our PMs, Data Engineer, and other Analysts to evolve our analytics capabilities in line with our product roadmap, anticipating the questions that’ll matter for our product and company strategy
  • Work within the DBT pipeline to shape the analytics tables in a way that supports your own work but also expose the basics of the product in an accessible way for the rest of the team
  • Partner with the Product Manager for Editor. You’ll validate qualitative insights, help us understand how we measure overall success for key strategic investments, while navigating an ambiguous and fast-moving product area
  • Help us unlock new uses and drive revenue growth through insights and data. We’re attempting to shift the current paradigm of video creation and enable anyone within an enterprise to create high quality video content. You’ll help us understand how successfully we’re achieving this goal

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with DBT pipelines or equivalent data pipeline tools
