Summary

Join Airbnb's Fraud and Safety Operations Team as a Senior Program Strategy and Delivery Manager and shape the future of our defense systems. Drive the development and implementation of programs impacting the user journey and customer experience for hosts and guests. Create, manage, and maintain the roadmap of key programs, ensuring alignment with Airbnb's business objectives. Deliver products that enhance safety and reliability on the platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on transformative solutions, identifying opportunities and gaps to unlock value for hosts and guests. This role requires strong leadership, inspiring and motivating teams to foster a collaborative environment. You will report to the Senior Manager for Fraud and Safety Operations Program Management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience driving complex cross-functional programs
  • Expert understanding of project management and maturation fundamentals
  • Excellent communication, engagement and leadership influence skills
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication with multiple groups and stakeholders is imperative
  • Thrives in ambiguity and expertly brings order to chaos

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships within the Fraud and Safety Operations team and across Airbnb to facilitate successful development and delivery of the roadmap
  • Manage program / initiative roadmap, consistently evaluating new potential entrants to ensure alignment with goals
  • Understand and articulate how initiatives and projects contribute to overall strategic priority metrics. In partnership with management define metrics and create explanations of how your work contributes to overall goals
  • Track critical milestones within to ensure progress is being achieved and report out on progress against roadmap
  • Engage with cross functional team members to support resolution of issues impeding progress
  • Lead cross-organization teams and program team driving cross-functional programs post exit from ideation phase through launch
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional team to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, adapting them as necessary to meet evolving business needs and market conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Program Management certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences
