Summary

Join Samsara as a Senior Program Manager in our Sales Programs PMO and drive strategic transformation across the global Sales organization. You will own the design and execution of complex programs, working with VP+ stakeholders. This role demands advanced program management skills, the ability to lead change, and influence executive leadership. The ideal candidate possesses a strong program management background, experience in sales-driven organizations, and a passion for cross-functional collaboration. You will lead strategic programs, drive executive collaboration, establish program governance, operationalize business impact, scale change management, and foster a culture of excellence. This position is open to US-based candidates excluding specific states and metro areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution; MBA a strong plus
  • 10+ years of experience in a program management or business operations role supporting sales organizations within a high-growth B2B SaaS or hardware environment
  • Proven track record of owning large-scale, cross-functional programs that deliver strategic outcomes and ROI
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executive stakeholders, lead complex initiatives, and navigate organizational complexity
  • Strong program management expertise including program design, governance, change management, risk mitigation, and cross-team execution
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and able to collaborate effectively across time zones
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills; able to distill complex issues and influence across levels
  • Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and ability to derive insights from data to drive strategic decisions

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Programs: Independently manage multiple high-priority programs that span across Samsara’s Sales organization and Go-To-Market systems. Define clear program charters, align executive sponsors, and oversee execution across interdependent workstreams
  • Drive Executive Collaboration: Partner with VP+ leaders to ensure program alignment with business strategy. Surface risks and recommendations proactively to influence decision-making at the highest levels
  • Establish Program Governance: Define reporting cadences, metrics/KPIs, and program forums. Ensure consistent program visibility, alignment, and accountability
  • Operationalize Business Impact: Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, or operational efficiency. Build business cases and measure outcomes with rigor
  • Scale Change Management: Architect comprehensive change plans across stakeholder groups. Deliver cross-functional enablement, training, and communications to ensure adoption
  • Foster a Culture of Excellence: Champion Samsara’s cultural principles and mentor junior PMs, contributing to the maturity of the PMO and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification, Agile/Scrum Certification
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Gong and/or other sales systems
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate program design, automate execution tasks, or surface strategic insights
