Summary

The Senior Sales Manager role involves growing existing business and closing new programmatic advertising revenue from agencies and brands in Japan. The successful candidate will leverage market dynamics to expand regional efforts, identify and close new deals, collaborate with management and product teams, manage client relationships, and partner with account managers to devise retention strategies. Requirements include bilingualism in Japanese and English, digital advertising sales experience, 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing or Advertising Technology, and 4+ years of business development & sales experience in Programmatic. Requirements

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English
  • Digital advertising sales experience - programmatic is a plus!
  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and / or Advertising Technology
  • 4+ years of business development & sales experience in Programmatic

Responsibilities

  • Growing existing business and closing new programmatic advertising revenue from agencies and brands
  • Leveraging deep understanding of local market dynamics to drive strategic regional expansion efforts
  • Identifying, pitching, and successfully closing new platform sales deals with local agencies and brands
  • Collaborating closely with management and product teams to provide input for region-specific product development
  • Offering guidance and recommendations for region-specific improvements, informed by direct client interactions and market observations
  • Proactively managing existing client relationships and nurturing trust
  • Partnering with StackAdapt Account Managers to devise and execute tailored client retention strategies
