Summary

Join Crunchbase as a Sales Manager for Corporate Accounts and lead a high-performing team of Account Executives. You will drive net new sales revenue, guide the team in sales and account strategies, and coach and develop sales talent. Responsibilities include managing team performance, building and executing sales strategies, forecasting revenue, and collaborating across departments. The ideal candidate has proven success leading B2B SaaS sales teams, a deep understanding of data sales cycles, and exceptional communication and leadership skills. Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in leading B2B SaaS sales teams, preferably in data/API-driven environments
  • Deep understanding of data sales cycles, monetization strategies, and licensing considerations
  • Proven track record of leading quota-carrying teams that consistently exceed goals
  • Experience negotiating and navigating contracts and legal discussions
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Google Office Suite and other software tools
  • 2+ years of experience directly leading and scaling sales teams at a SaaS company
  • Experience selling data or API-based products to corporate or enterprise customers
  • Background in managing cross-functional collaboration and executive engagement in complex sales cycles
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and support a team of Corporate AEs to meet and exceed their individual and team sales goals
  • Provide regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and performance feedback focused on skill development, strategy refinement, and professional growth
  • Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and resilience within the team
  • Guide team members in building and executing outbound sales and prospecting strategies aligned with Crunchbaseโ€™s Predictions & Insights product line
  • Monitor team pipeline metrics to ensure 2.5x coverage of quota; provide strategies for pipeline growth and conversion optimization
  • Support AEs in complex negotiations, enterprise opportunities, and cross-functional deal collaboration
  • Own forecasting accuracy and reporting for your teamโ€™s quota attainment
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to set goals, track performance, and analyze trends
  • Partner with the Revenue Operations team to monitor sales performance KPIs
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to align on expansion and renewal strategies
  • Partner with Solution Engineering, SDRs, and Product Marketing to ensure effective GTM execution and account engagement
  • Champion feedback flows with Product and Engineering to share feedback and influence roadmap priorities
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Team Oversight: Directly supervise a team to oversee their day-to-day activities and ensure alignment with company goals and standards
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to foster professional development and high-quality work
  • Hiring and Training: Play an active role in hiring new team members as needed. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator in resolving any interpersonal or professional conflicts within the team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including managing work schedules, balancing workloads, and ensuring the team has the necessary tools and information to perform their roles efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
