Requirements

  • 5-7 years of successful sales experience in IT and cybersecurity consulting, managed services, and product sales, with a demonstrated focus on the manufacturing vertical
  • Strong understanding of the unique challenges and technology needs of the manufacturing sector, including MSP/IT Outsourcing, MSSP, OT security, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC)
  • Proven success in meeting or surpassing sales quotas in a B2B sales environment, particularly within the manufacturing or industrial sectors
  • Ability to engage clients in a consultative manner, understanding the specific needs of manufacturing organizations and delivering tailored cybersecurity and IT solutions that address these challenges
  • Adept at articulating the value and technical aspects of RKON’s service offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences, with a particular focus on manufacturing environments
  • Skilled in developing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders in manufacturing organizations, including IT directors, security officers, and operations managers
  • Experience working alongside technology vendors and internal teams to create comprehensive and integrated client solutions for manufacturing clients
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by selling RKON’s managed services and cybersecurity solutions to manufacturing clients
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with decision-makers in manufacturing enterprises, including C-suite executives, to ensure long-term partnerships and sustained business growth
  • Utilize RKON’s portfolio to develop tailored cybersecurity and IT solutions that address the specific challenges of the manufacturing industry, including supply chain security, operational technology (OT) protection, and regulatory compliance
  • Build, manage, and optimize a robust sales pipeline targeting manufacturing clients, ensuring steady deal flow and conversion of leads into loyal customers
  • Partner with leading technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Rapid7, Checkpoint) to deliver integrated, co-sell solutions that address manufacturing clients’ unique cybersecurity and IT needs
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing manufacturing accounts to maximize revenue and deepen client relationships
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on achieving $300k OTE, contributing to the overall growth objectives of the company
