Summary

Join Grafana Labs as a Solutions Architect (ProServ) and become a key member of our world-class Customer Experience (CX) team. You will provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation, guiding them to achieve their objectives using Grafana. This hands-on role requires expertise in observability, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. You will manage the lifecycle of customer onboarding, deliver training, and provide ongoing support. Success in this role involves strong customer engagement, project management skills, and a passion for leading-edge technologies. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams, using project management techniques
  • Direct experience with o11y
  • Knowledge of best practices for both using and deploying an o11y stack (visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces) - preferably with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo)
  • A proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise o11y implementations for large customers
  • Be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
  • Possess excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, partners, and internal members
  • Have experience with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka preferred)
  • Have experience with Cloud Platforms - AWS, GCP, Azure

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff
  • Understand business needs and distill information into business and technical requirements
  • Work comfortably with complex business and technological requirements and translate them into solution designs, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture
  • Act as a functional lead and demonstrate a clear approach to methodology and functional capabilities
  • Lead functional workshops with customers, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions
  • Prioritize speed in delivering solutions for customers
  • Advocate for adherence to standards and best practices
  • Stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies
  • Serve as a key resource for Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to drive innovation and improvements
  • Manage the life-cycle of our customerโ€™s onboarding and adoption of Grafana offerings and features, with a commitment to deliver world-class experiences and time to value
  • Deliver packaged training, quick-starts, session cataloging, project and roadmap assurance, as well as specialized consulting for high-priority customers with complex technical requirements and resource constraints
  • Manage ongoing support to customers to ensure theyโ€™re continuing to get value from our commercial products and OSS projects
  • Monitor support requests to identify any recurring issues, acting as the voice of the customer, and work with our product teams to recommend changes and improvements to our products
