Senior Solutions Engineer

Summary

Join Skydio's team of SLED Solutions Engineers as a seasoned Public Safety sUAS Operator and Program Manager. You will demonstrate Skydio's end-to-end solutions to public safety agencies, conduct thorough discovery, and capture customer feedback. This role requires extensive travel (50-75%), strong communication skills, and experience with drone-as-first-responders (DFR) operations. You will collaborate with major accounts, integrate technology into customer operations, and support pilot programs. The position offers remote work flexibility and a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of drone technology, public safety operations, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with clients
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying schedules based on client needs
• Part 107 Certificate at time of start
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
• Ability to lift 60 lbs unaided

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our Nation’s largest Public Safety agencies to understand their needs and develop tailored drone solutions as a trusted expert and integral member of the Major Accounts Team
• Conduct product demonstrations and ensure the smooth integration of technology into customer agency operations and existing data management systems
• Assist with the coordination, and provide technical support, for “early access” pilot programs of Skydio products
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and enhancements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of customer projects, including the development of Customer Success Plans

• A strong desire to connect with customers in the Public Safety space
• Bring a strong background in sUA systems
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills to audiences of all levels

• Compensation Range : The range for the on target earnings (OTE) is $150,000 - $200,000+
