Senior Solutions Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Solutions Engineer at Venafi, responsible for helping customers succeed in an enterprise setting by architecting, designing, and implementing Kubernetes-based solutions. The role requires advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to circumstances.

Requirements

• A proven track record of helping customers succeed, ideally in an enterprise setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced knowledge and skills with Kubernetes, containers and cloud technologies

Responsibilities

• Work on customer facing projects, collaborating with others in solving technical issues
• Determine how to best approach new assignments and be self-sufficient during delivery
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members ad-hoc
• Proactively communicate plans, progress, and problems to relevant colleagues
• Build alignment with people from other technical teams as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Involvement in designing cloud architecture and strategy
• Expertise in software development or platform engineering
• Enthusiasm and involvement with the Kubernetes, container, and CNCF ecosystems
• Experience owning and/or supporting day two operations for production platforms
