Join BeyondTrust as a Sr. Solutions Engineer and lead the technical sales process, leveraging your expertise to drive successful business outcomes. You will deliver presentations, build customer relationships, lead POC development, and act as a trusted advisor in complex technical environments. This role requires advanced problem-solving, extensive product knowledge, and mentoring skills. You will contribute to RFP/RFI responses, serve as a technical escalation point, and drive innovation. The position demands significant experience in PAM, Identity Security, or related enterprise technologies, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales, support, and/or implementation engineer in Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Security Applications, or related enterprise technologies such as ITDR, SIEM, or CIEM
- 7+ years of experience working with global software vendors in customer-facing technical roles
- Demonstrated ability to effectively differentiate products and articulate competitive advantages to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience leading large-scale Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements and presenting solutions to executive stakeholders
- Proficiency in architecting solutions for complex environments, including Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, Databases, and Network Devices
- Advanced working knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and SkyTap
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience delivering presentations at conferences or industry events
- Proven ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced solution presentations, technical demonstrations, and in-depth product recommendations tailored to prospects and customers
- Build and nurture strategic technical relationships with key customers through regular engagement, including Quarterly Technical Reviews
- Lead the development of comprehensive Proof-of-Concept (POC) documentation, aligning with customer objectives and priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor during high-stakes engagements, navigating complex technical environments to deliver impactful solutions
- Represent the organization as a thought leader at trade shows, seminars, and other industry events
- Actively contribute to RFP/RFI responses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs
- Serve as a mentor and technical escalation point for Solutions Engineers, providing guidance and sharing best practices
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvement and suggesting enhancements to workflows and tools
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address customer challenges and ensure alignment between technical and business objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH
- Expertise in API integrations, Webhook scripting, and DevOps methodologies
- Hands-on experience with BeyondTrust solutions or similar technologies
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive improvements in technical processes
