Summary

Join Dispel, a cybersecurity company specializing in secure remote access and threat detection, as a Senior System Administrator. This full-time, fully remote (U.S. only) position offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively within a team of approximately 40 engineers and specialists. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Maniacal attention to detail - including full lifecycle management of OS and Cloud level configuration and deployment baselines
  • Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards including NIST 800-53, IEC62443, ISO27001, SOC 2, and hardening templates including DISA STIGs
  • Willingness to accept failure and feedback, learn and try again
  • Passion for learning new disciplines and gaining a deep understanding of how others on the team do their work
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both in-person and over team chat
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our deployed infrastructure is up to date and correctly configured
  • Participate in solving problems and improving code/infrastructure
  • Build and execute patch management plans across 1,000-2,000 cloud and hardware-based nodes
  • Contribute to vulnerability remediation and future-proofing baselines from lessons learned
  • Automate all the things
  • Provide leadership in System Administration and redundancy methodologies and techniques
  • Manage and debug Linux (priority) and Windows operating systems and their software
  • Communicate excellently
