Summary
Join Scholar Rock, a biopharmaceutical company, as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and play a critical role in supporting the company's growth in 2025. As we approach our first product launch, you will be a highly visible contributor to our team buildout. You will partner with internal stakeholders to ensure hiring needs are met efficiently and with quality candidates. Success in this role requires a passion for candidate experience and the ability to find and hire top talent to meet our hiring goals. You will work closely with hiring managers, utilize our Applicant Tracking System, and implement creative ideas to attract candidates. You will also be responsible for upholding high standards in candidate experience and providing insights into process improvements. Finally, you will build Scholar Rock's talent brand to attract high-caliber and diverse talent.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR/Talent Acquisition with proven experience of a data-driven outlook
- Strong project management skills - organized, detail oriented, execution focused
- High social and emotional intelligence - you truly enjoy mentoring team members and cultivating strong relationships with all types of people
- Exceptional talent scouting and assessment capabilities; to be able to both find and select the best talent
- Strong influence and negotiating skills to both attract and close great candidates
- Excellent knowledge of Recruiting and HR best practices and industry standards
- Experience establishing relationships as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and hiring managers across teams to build effective sourcing, pipelining, assessment, and closing approaches
- Work directly with multiple Hiring Managers on the planning and efficient execution of their hiring plan
- Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (Lever) for job posting, candidate communication & management, interview scheduling & offer process
- Evaluate and implement new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates and build talent networks and pipelines with quality candidates that meet our business needs and align with our values
- Uphold high standards in candidate experience by providing clear expectations as well as constant communication with both candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting and onboarding process
- Provide insights into process improvements to Scholar Rockβs candidate experience & recruiting practices
- Build Scholar Rockβs talent brand to continue attracting and hiring high-caliber and diverse talent
- Utilize existing sourcing tools and identify new & innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent for leadership searches and technical roles
- Identify and leverage external recruiting partners as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in an emerging biotech or similar environment is a significant plus
