Summary
Join Thoughtworks as a Talent Business Partner (TBP) and provide direct support for complex people issues within the Bangkok offices. You will act as a point of contact for various people-related operational matters, offering guidance and resolving issues such as employee relations, performance management, and conflict management. Leverage workforce data to provide insights to leadership and take the lead on regular people activities, including compensation reviews, performance processes, and promotions. Collaborate with global/regional people functions and other regional TBPs to ensure consistent approaches across APAC. Promote Thoughtworks' culture, DEI, and wellbeing initiatives, fostering a positive and healthy workplace. This role requires a Thai citizen or permanent resident.
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-life cycle HR business partner experience, IT industry / Internet industry / consulting industry experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and passionate about people and curious about high performing organizations and individuals
- Demonstrable experience of Thai labour law, employee relations and strong business partnering
- Possess strong change management skill
- Comfortable with people data and analytics
- Can think commercially and prioritize accordingly; driven by challenging the status quo and striving for continuous improvement
- Teamwork: Being able to work with a wide variety of people to lead by example. Passionate to help others
- Strong adaptability: able to cooperate with a variety of opinions in an uncertain environment
- Flexibility: Comfortable accepting errors, handling conflicts, and engaging in crucial conversations
- At time of application, you must be an Thai Citizen or already hold Permanent Residency
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support for complex people issues, and signpost to the relevant operational teams where appropriate
- Be a point of contact for People related operational matters for Bangkok offices, offering guidance, resolving people issues including employee relations, performance. management, conflict management, change management, employee engagement, retention, compensation etc
- Leverage workforce data to share valuable insights with leadership, to help make informed decisions and identify focus areas needing attention
- Take the lead on regular people activities, including compensation reviews, performance process and promotions and design and implement talent management practices and employee engagement initiatives in line with business and business unit goals
- Lead People induction, probation and offboarding process
- Work closely with the global/regional people functions to coordinate and execute global programs and initiatives
- Coordinate with other regional Talent Business Partners to shape consistent approaches to people processes across APAC
- Act as an ambassador of Thoughtwork's culture seeking opportunities for developing it, and promotes DEl and wellbeing initiatives, helping create a healthy, safe and positive workplace
