Join Instacart's team and work on transforming the grocery industry by creating external product documentation for partners.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams (primarily Product and Engineering) to understand Instacart solutions, use cases, and documentation requirements for partners
• Produce high-quality external product documentation that is tailored to our target audience
• Develop documentation/content plans and socialize with key stakeholders
• Create diagrams and other visual aids
• Edit content created by teammates
• Work with partner-facing teams (e.g., Technical Support, Customer Success Managers) to collect partner feedback and incorporate it into documentation
• Work with the Product Marketing team to understand and collaborate on positioning, tone and messaging
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Encourage awareness and usage of documentation
• Monitor documentation usage and develop and execute on plans to drive awareness and usage with external and internal audiences
• Act as a project lead
• Mentor less experienced writers
