Senior User Experience Writer

Summary

Join JumpCloud's remote Senior UX Writer / Content Strategy team in India! This role focuses on contributing to the JumpCloud platform by overseeing writing style and tone, developing content governance guidelines, and creating intuitive user experiences. You will establish frameworks, generate best practices, and drive the evolution of UX writing and content strategy. Success requires 8+ years of experience in UX Writing and/or Content Strategy at fast-paced tech companies, expertise in data-informed product design, and the ability to simplify complex operations. You'll collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, and Engineering teams. JumpCloud offers a remote-first work environment and a collaborative culture.

Requirements

• Have 8+ years of related experience in UX Writing and/or Content Strategy at fast-paced tech companies delivering customer value quickly to the market
• Have shipped products over the years & are skilled at balancing both business-to-consumer and business-to-business considerations
• Be well-versed in data-informed product design & development
• Empathize with our unique IT users & be skilled at simplifying complex functional operations into smooth & intuitive experiences
• Have experience working in an agile environment with design, product, & engineering leaders to align on product strategy and make it real as a team
• Be a trusted mentor
• Be passionate about design culture
• Drive collaboration across UX, Engineering & Product teams to maintain a cohesive design and experience throughout the product portfolio
• Foster a work environment that encourages mentorship, trust, respect, and collaboration
• Be located in and authorized to work in India
• Speak and write in English fluently

Responsibilities

• Oversee writing style and tone for all content; ensuring polished, professional and well structured content throughout the platform
• Develop content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content; and ensure they are followed
• Develop editorial strategy, so content is consistent across all delivery platforms
• Conduct periodic content audits and follow up on issues that need to be addressed
• Track and calculate content ROI
• Ensure that content strategy meets business objectives and aligns with overall platform vision
• Create simple, intuitive flows & experiences that delight our customers
• Make day-to-day design decisions during implementation
• Lead collaborative design sessions with Product Management, Product Design & Engineering to reach a shared understanding of deliverables
• Partner with the UX leadership team & broader UX team as a whole to shape how we constantly improve the UX we deliver for our customers
