Join Astria, a shared sequencer network, as a Social Media and Community Associate! You will be responsible for engaging, growing, and nurturing our community across various social platforms. This role involves creating engaging social media content, scheduling and monitoring posts, organizing events, collecting community insights, and collaborating with other teams. We are a remote-first company with a flexible work environment. The ideal candidate has experience managing online communities, creating content, planning events, and using analytics tools. Experience in the blockchain ecosystem is a plus.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and growing communities on platforms like Discord, Telegram, or Twitter (X)
  • Proficiency in creating content using tools like Canva, Figma, or similar
  • Proven experience planning and executing virtual and in-person events
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics) to track community and social performance

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging social media posts, graphics, and other content to inform and educate the community about Astria’s mission and updates
  • Schedule, post, and monitor content across social channels to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Organize and execute virtual and in-person events, such as AMAs, webinars, meetups, and developer-focused events, to bring the community together
  • Collect and share insights from the community to help the team improve products and initiatives
  • Work with business development, strategy, and product teams to align community engagement efforts with broader goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience preferred or strong interest in the blockchain ecosystem
  • Experience managing socials and event planning
  • Based in NYC
