Summary
Join User Interviews, a fully remote company, as a passionate and creative Social Media & Community Manager. You will be responsible for building and nurturing our online community, engaging with UX Research professionals, creating a dynamic social media strategy, and producing compelling content across various platforms. This role requires 3+ years of experience in social media management and a strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices. You will be supported by your manager and team, and expected to take ownership of your work. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, community engagement, or a related role
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, especially LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram
- Have a portfolio that showcases your published work across platforms (and the data behind its success)
- Have experience writing short-form copy purpose-built for social audience—and are exceptionally good at it. You’re the kind of writer whose work requires minimal edits
- A strong point of view about will (and will not) help companies stand out in social media today and in the future
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Want to win, but do not need others to lose to win
- Take ownership, but are willing and eager to work with others
- Know how to manage your time and energy to stay within scope and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Actively engage with the UXR community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media channels
- Build relationships with influencers in the broader community, our power users, and all kinds of UX evangelists to partner with us for virtual events, editorial contributions, and any other type of content that bolsters our community presence
- Organize and/or host the occasional live stream sessions to connect with our audience, share product insights, and address questions in real-time
- Create and implement a dynamic social media strategy that enhances brand visibility and engagement
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the social media landscape to keep our brand relevant
- Build unique, engaging content on LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging platforms such as Blue Sky and others
- Develop and curate compelling content that resonates with our audience, including graphics, videos, and interactive posts, from helpful infographics on LinkedIn to podcast shorts on YouTube
- Start thoughtful conversations in UXR online communities and able to share UI resources (without being pushy)
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess community engagement and content performance
- Turn those insights into regular reports and recommendations for optimizing across social media platforms
- Partner with Growth Marketing to help build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our reach and community presence
- Coordinate influencer and affiliate campaigns and partnerships that align with our brand values
