Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in social media, content development or a similar role
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies
  • Ability to translate complex information into engaging search engine optimized content
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Regional Communications and Marketing Director and PR/Media Manager to develop and implement social media strategies tailored to the target audiences in the Americas
  • Support our Campaign Localization Manager and PR/Media Manager by creating, curating, and managing engaging content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics
  • Working with the Campaign Localization Manager, plan and execute social media campaigns to support the localization of global marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels in the Americas. Foster a positive and active online community for the region
  • Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools. Provide regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI
  • Manages an optimal posting schedule
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices. Suggest new strategies to keep the brand relevant and engaging
  • Manage and optimize local paid social to increase reach and engagement. Monitor budgets and performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a global organization
  • Familiarity with the cultural and social media landscape of the Americas
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools
  • Multilingual abilities, Spanish
