Social Media Designer

Summary

Join We Are Rosie, a leading online professional platform, as a Graphic Designer for a one-week remote contract (March 10-14, 32 hours/week, $75/hour). You will refresh our Instagram presence by updating existing highlight covers and creating new ones. This role requires strong design skills, experience with Instagram branding, and proficiency in Canva or similar tools. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating visually engaging social media graphics and a keen eye for detail. You'll collaborate with our team to ensure the covers align with our brand identity and content themes. This is a remote position requiring PST working hours.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on social media branding
• Strong portfolio showcasing Instagram highlight covers or social media graphics
• Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools
• Understanding of Instagram branding and visual aesthetics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple design requests efficiently

Responsibilities

• Update 27 existing Instagram highlight covers to ensure a cohesive and refreshed aesthetic
• Create 10 new Instagram highlight covers that align with brand identity and storytelling
• Design on-brand, visually engaging, and easily recognizable covers optimized for Instagram
• Maintain consistency in style, typography, and color schemes across all designs
• Collaborate with the team to ensure covers reflect content themes effectively
• Provide editable files for future updates if needed
• Deliver final assets within the project timeline while maintaining high design quality
