Requirements
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful social media campaigns
- Ability to be an effective decision-maker in high-pressure situations
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. Iconik, Google Drive), and SMM platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Khoros, Later)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- The discipline, flexibility, and self-starter mentality required to work as part of a high-performing, distributed team
- Passion for fitness and a genuine interest in the CrossFit community and industry
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Masterβs degree is a plus
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in social media management, preferably within the sports or health and fitness industry
Responsibilities
- Execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives and brand goals
- Lead the development of integrated social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Stay updated on evolving industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep the company at the forefront of innovation
- Oversee the creation of compelling and on-brand content for various social media platforms
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all social channels
- Utilize data and analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies as needed
- Foster a strong and engaged community across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and positively
- Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community participation
- Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of social media campaigns and provide detailed reports to key stakeholders
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve social media metrics continuously
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, and product development, to ensure social media strategies align with overall business objectives
- Work closely with influencers and partners to amplify the brand's reach and impact
