Join our client, an innovative no-code creative development platform, as their Social Media Specialist. This fully remote contract position (10 AM - 6 PM EST) focuses on organic user growth, short-form video production, and visually appealing content creation. You will manage social media channels, produce engaging video and written content, and contribute to community growth. Success involves seamlessly integrating design principles into marketing strategies, creating high-quality video content, and strategically expanding the client's social media presence. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a startup, and a demonstrated passion for digital creative tools. A strong portfolio showcasing your skills is required.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a startup environment
- Familiarity with creative and technical communities such as web designers, creative coders, and web/digital artists
- Demonstrated passion for digital creative tools and consumer audience growth
- Proficiency in video production, including shooting and editing
- Strong writing and design skills
- Familiarity with social media management and content creation tools
- Independent and proactive, with a flexible and responsive startup mentality
- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts clearly
Responsibilities
- Design and execute visually consistent content across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Monitor trends and engage with the community daily
- Produce engaging video content, including platform tutorials, walkthroughs, and product feature introductions
- Execute the existing marketing strategy while proactively identifying and initiating growth opportunities
- Identify and highlight power users, fostering an active and engaged community
- Provide consistent updates on social media performance and user engagement
