Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a full-time Software Engineer with experience in various backend technologies at DEFCON AI, an MS&A company specializing in logistics and mobility solutions. The role involves resolving software defects and developing processes to ensure product sustainability and reliability. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing within .NET/.NET Core in C# and Visual Studio
• Familiar with Unit Testing, Mocking, & Continuous Integration
• Strong understanding of design patterns and when best to apply them
• Ability to create and maintain system code and documentation
• Demonstrated ability to write backend code interfacing with SQL
• Familiarity with Docker

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes and systems to ensure product sustainability and reliability
• Resolve software bug/defect tickets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS cloud services, especially ECR, EKS, and CodeArtifact
• Experience in Github Actions or CI/CD systems in general
• Experience with Entity Framework (EF)
