Summary

Join Experian as a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge, machine learning-driven products on AWS. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven experience delivering ML-based or data-intensive products in a cloud environment
  • Strong background in backend development (e.g., C#, .NET, Python) and cloud-native architecture
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, APIs, and microservices
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional engineering team in the design, development, and deployment of ML-powered applications and services on AWS
  • Partner with product managers and software engineers to translate business challenges into innovative, data-driven solutions
  • Architect and implement cloud-native systems using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Step Functions
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, rapid prototyping, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and the adoption of best practices in CI/CD, testing, and observability
  • Drive technical strategy and roadmap planning for product development with an API-centric approach
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in AI/ML, cloud computing, and software engineering to inform innovation initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kinesis, Kafka)
  • Background in building recommendation systems, predictive analytics, or NLP applications
  • Experience working in agile, product-driven environments
