Solution Architect

Summary

The job is for a Solution Architect at ClickHouse, a high-performance columnar OLAP database management system company. The role involves working directly with customers to provide expert guidance on using ClickHouse, creating solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in Open-Source software business models and proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience, at minimum, with Open-Source software business models is preferred
• Proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software is a minimum requirement

Responsibilities

• Comfortable working with complex business and technological requirements and translating them into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture
• Working directly with customers at every layer of their organization (C Suite to data scientists and developers) and acting as a trusted advisor for our users
• Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products and secure strategic commercial commitments
• Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers
• Identify and drive new initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and align these initiatives with their business outcomes for continued success

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers
• Experience with database programming and data models
