Summary

Join Tavus, a Series A company building the human layer of AI, as a Solution Engineer. This role focuses on unblocking developers and enterprise customers integrating with Tavus' AI-powered APIs. You will diagnose and solve issues quickly, create developer resources, and optimize for near-zero resolution time. The ideal candidate possesses a strong engineering background, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to balance speed with precision. This position offers a flexible work schedule, unlimited PTO, competitive healthcare and gear stipends, and a supportive team environment. Tavus values diversity and is seeking culture creators to join their rapidly growing company.

Requirements

  • Strong dev experience or the scrappiness to trick us into thinking you have strong dev experience – You can build, deploy, and debug an end-to-end application. Likely you love v0
  • You’re great at handling multiple clients, projects, and issues at once without letting anything slip through the cracks
  • A “customer-obsessed” mindset – You care deeply about the developer experience and take pride in solving problems fast
  • Ability to translate highly technical issues into simple, clear explanations
  • A scrappy, solution-driven approach – If something’s broken, you don’t just report it, you fix it (or figure out how to)
  • Comfortable working in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar – Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and debugging complex technical integrations

Responsibilities

  • Be the unblocker, not just the responder – Don’t just answer tickets—eliminate roadblocks. Your goal is to keep developers moving fast and friction-free
  • Diagnose and solve fast – Debug API requests, troubleshoot production issues, and provide clear, actionable solutions for customers
  • Think like the customer – Spot patterns in issues, improve docs, and work with engineering to fix problems at the root (or, just do it yourself)
  • Build developer resources, like sample code, etc
  • Optimize for zero – Aim for near-zero time to resolution. Every inefficiency is an opportunity to build a faster path forward
  • Empower developers – Guide self-serve users and enterprise teams to get the most out of Tavus, from first API call to full-scale deployment. We need to teach them how to use Tavus best, both through creating resources and working 1-1
  • Scale yourself – Automate, document, and streamline processes so future users never hit the same roadblocks twice
  • Own technical enablement – Help self-serve developers and enterprise teams understand best practices for integrating and scaling with our platform

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus: Experience working with AI/ML models or video processing APIs

Benefits

  • Flexible work schedule
