Summary

Join Hitachi Solutions as a Solution Sales Professional (SSP) – Financial Services and contribute to our growing Industry Sales Team. This role requires experience selling Microsoft solutions within the Financial Services industry. You will be instrumental in developing sales strategies, creating sales enablement content, and providing industry messaging. As an SSP, you will offer subject matter expertise and business advisory support to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and a proven track record in solution sales. Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of solution sales experience within an industry focus
  • A background with Microsoft technology, either in the partner network or as an IT consumer
  • Experience attaining sales targets in a professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem particularly within the Financial Services space
  • This includes co-sell motions, partner alignment, and go-to-market strategies
  • Strong industry knowledge across the different segments from banks, credit unions, to investment institutions and insurance companies
  • Ability to identify white space opportunities and create opportunities to support various sellers
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop industry sales plays and messaging across Microsoft business applications and Azure workloads
  • Lead specific strategic initiatives which range from parts of the annual playbook, to co-selling engagements, to industry Marketing events and initiatives
  • Lead the internal specific industry solutions and messaging strategy
  • Provide competitive analysis and market demand for internal investment
  • Follow industry trends, customer pain points, and opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem for generating new business
  • Utilize industry knowledge to craft compelling presentations and offerings that resonate with customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft field teams and the partner ecosystem to align on sales strategies
  • Lead co-sell opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted industry advisor to customers, understanding their business needs and recommending tailored solutions to address challenges that drive growth
  • Collaborate with Hitachi DBDs, Innovation, and Delivery teams to present solution plays, demonstrate business and industry expertise, all facilitating customer success
  • Work closely with Hitachi's delivery and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for customers
  • Contribute to practice growth through educating, sharing insights, strategies, and best practices with the broader sales team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in different Microsoft workloads are a plus
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for customer success
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
