Summary

Requirements

  • At least four years of work experience, preferably in consulting, technology or politics
  • Significant experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Advanced organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience drawing data-informed insights and recommendations
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to provide three professional writing samples
  • Comfortable working directly with senior executives and managing up
  • Growth mindset and willingness to β€œplay high and play low”
  • Personal commitment to the missions of Lean In and Option B

Responsibilities

  • Attend key meetings alongside the CEO for insight on key priorities and workstreams
  • This hire will also have the opportunity to lead Leadership Team Meetings
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure that CEO-led projects are on track, she is getting the right level of insight, and teams are getting what they need to be successful
  • Review draft strategy, messaging, and planning docs and provide input to working teams
  • Create briefs for meetings and events (e.g., identifying goals and talking points, providing background on attendees and existing business relationships, summarizing opportunities for Lean In to work with external partners, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Comms team on external speaking engagements, op-eds, and other thought leadership
  • Draft and review communications on behalf of the CEO
  • Complete research to inform strategic decisions and initiatives, such as sizing target markets and identifying potential partners
  • Manage special projects for the Office of the CEO
  • Oversight of board meeting scheduling and planning and ongoing board communication, including quarterly updates with key metrics
  • Manage the CEO’s schedule to maximize her time on key business priorities
  • Create briefs, bookings, expense reports, etc. for CEO travel (approx. 1 trip/quarter)

Benefits

  • The base salary for this role varies by location: $112,500-118,800 (National) / $125,000-$132,000 (Bay Area/New York Metro), with the final amount depending on experience, skills, and qualifications
