Summary
Join Pilot Company as a remote Employee Relations Specialist! In this role, you will investigate and resolve team member and guest complaints, monitor background checks, and collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders. You will also handle document requests related to employee relations and legal matters. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least one year of experience in a human resources-related field. A bachelor's degree and bilingual skills are preferred. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The position is remote, but may require occasional evening, weekend, or odd-hour work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
- Minimum one year experience in human resources related field highly required
- General knowledge of all company policies
- General knowledge of federal and state laws concerning labor relations
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain objective, calm, tactful and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision making
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
- Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior including but not limited to confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Assign, monitor and investigate team members and guest complaints; escalate when necessary
- Monitor background and MVR results and respond to concerns from the background check adjudication process; escalate when necessary
- Resolve team member common operational questions and concerns; escalate when necessary
- Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to resolve team member and guest issues
- Model behaviors that support the companyโs common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Compile document requests as they relate to employee relations, DOL, EEOC and litigation threats
- All other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in business administration, human resources management, employee relations or related field preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Benefits
