Remote Sr. Director - Engineering

Summary

Join Rula, a mental healthcare telehealth company dedicated to making mental health care accessible for everyone. Lead 4-5 application development teams to improve patient and provider experiences and third-party integrations in a HIPAA-compliant environment. This is a leadership role managing managers, not a hands-on technical role.

Requirements

• 15+ years in software engineering, 10+ in engineering leadership roles, at least 3 years managing managers
• At least 8 years experience working in application development teams (as an engineer or manager)
• Experience managing third-party integrations that are in the critical path of operations
• Experience building or leading teams in a SaaS environment, ideally in AWS

Responsibilities

Lead 4-5 application development teams at Rula to improve patient and provider experiences and third-party integrations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a healthcare, fintech, or other regulated environment
• Prior experience in mature startup or scaled engineering organizations (Engineering orgs > 150)
• Prior engineering experience as an IC in a SaaS environment
