Summary
The job is for a Senior Director of Engineering at Pindrop, a voice-security company backed by world-class investors. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field
- 10+ years in a senior engineering leadership role
- Experience leading a team of 50+ engineers, architects, and managers
- Demonstrated history working within a geographically distributed team
- Experience with multi-cloud environments required (ideally AWS and GCP)
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, etc
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software
Responsibilities
- Hire and manage the engineers for Pindrop platform and products
- Lead your teams to deliver with a high level of executive and achievement
- Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Set strategic goals for increased developer productivity and efficiency
- Work with engineers, product, and project managers in the development of technical solutions and road maps
- Analyze current processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
- Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey this to engineers
- Work with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing teams supporting AWS and Google Cloud platform
- Experience leading and or supporting platform and product engineering teams, driving alignment
