Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field
  • 10+ years in a senior engineering leadership role
  • Experience leading a team of 50+ engineers, architects, and managers
  • Demonstrated history working within a geographically distributed team
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments required (ideally AWS and GCP)
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, etc
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software

Responsibilities

  • Hire and manage the engineers for Pindrop platform and products
  • Lead your teams to deliver with a high level of executive and achievement
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Set strategic goals for increased developer productivity and efficiency
  • Work with engineers, product, and project managers in the development of technical solutions and road maps
  • Analyze current processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
  • Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey this to engineers
  • Work with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing teams supporting AWS and Google Cloud platform
  • Experience leading and or supporting platform and product engineering teams, driving alignment
