Summary
Join Nutrafol, a growing company pioneering hair wellness, as an ERP Staff Accountant. You will assist the Sr. ERP Accountant with the transition from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365, playing a key role in shaping the future of Nutrafol's financial systems. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, 3+ years of accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing/retail or a high-growth environment), and proficiency in various accounting systems. You will assist with data validation, testing, documentation, and scheduling related to the ERP implementation. The role also includes month-end/year-end closing tasks, reconciliations, and vendor management. Nutrafol offers a fully remote work environment and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing/retail environment is required; experience in a start-up/high-growth eCommerce or CPG business is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics, Quickbooks Desktop and Bill.com systems
- 1+ years experience with an ERP implementation of MS Dynamics
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and be unafraid to ask questions
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, and proficiency working in Google Suite
- Passionate about accounting operations, willingness to roll up your sleeves and help the team with projects and workflow as needed
- Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
Responsibilities
- Assist team members in the validation of master data in Quickbooks to ensure readiness for transitioning to MS Dynamics
- Assists team members with testing of all transactional activity in new ERP - MS Dynamics
- Documents notes and system errors and relays information back to the team in a timely manner
- Assist in managing all accounting schedules to be uploaded to the new ERP- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Assist with scheduling meetings and the organization and execution of the overall ERP plan and implementation
- Support the team in completing month-end and year-end closing tasks, as well as ad-hoc projects and reporting requirements
- Perform cross-departmental reconciliations as required, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various organizational units
- Maintain detailed records of costs and expenses, regularly updating various cost trackers to reflect the latest information
- Vendor reconciliation, including maintaining vendor schedules in Excel and Google Sheets
- Ensure all vendor invoices are received and processed into MS Dynamics, and communicate with vendors and internal departments relating to AP inquiries
