Staff Accountant

Requirements

• At least 1 year of bookkeeping or general accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Facilitate accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor communication
• Properly file receipts and maintain records in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Ensure employee compliance with the company’s expense policy
• Assist in reconciling company credit card statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy
• Help manage invoice payments by sending bill reminders, processing payments, and liaising with clients as needed
• Handle additional tasks and assignments as requested to support the Finance team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar accounting software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance
