Requirements
- A minimum of 7+ yearsβ of event-marketing experience, managing hosted events - both virtual and in-person - of various size and scope
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, work best under tight deadlines, and bring a problem-solving approach to every project
- Roll up your sleeves, can-do attitude and a willingness to take initiative
- You're analytical and results-driven, with strong project management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and can build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- You're willing to travel up to 30% (including some weekends)
- Creative minded, with a general aptitude for content creation and video production. While not directly responsible for filming, editing, etc., has experience working with these teams
- You have a strong working knowledge of event and marketing technologies including Swoogo, Figma, Asana, Salesforce, Marketo, and GSuite
- Proven record of both identifying and securing compelling speakers for virtual and in-person events, managing speaker logistics, coordinating presentation content, and ensuring smooth delivery of presentations
Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end lifecycle of various Rubrik hosted events, both in-person and virtual
- Ensure that our events align with business objectives each step of the way, and put attendee experience at the forefront
- Work with and lead cross-functional team (Sales, Product Marketing, Brand) to define event goals, messaging, and timelines
- Create and manage internal promotional strategies and sales enablement materials to ensure strong attendance and engagement
- Oversee all aspects of the event, from budgeting, weekly planning meetings, content creation, platform/venue management, post-event reporting, and more
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all event materials and touchpoints
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations on data management and analytics to optimize event performance and track ROI
- Provide operational support for third party events/tradeshows as needed, including occasional onsite support, list lead upload and reporting functions
