Join Abridge as a Strategic Partnerships Director and play a key role in developing and growing relationships with partners. You will be responsible for developing strategic partner plans, leading check-ins with stakeholders, identifying new partners, and ensuring alignment with internal strategies. This role also involves driving internal understanding of partner opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing partnership workstreams, and providing strategic insights and reporting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, enterprise healthcare, or healthcare IT, a strong understanding of the healthcare tech ecosystem, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, enterprise healthcare, or healthcare IT. Experience at/with revenue cycle or payers a plus
- Strong understanding of the enterprise healthcare tech ecosystem
- Ownership and outcomes-oriented. Intuitively understands that partnerships are only as valuable as the outcomes they produce and that outcomes are a team sport
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust, influence without authority, and manage complex relationships
- Experience driving partnership execution with technical and commercial teams
- A structured, strategic mindset with a knack for execution
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously with precision and efficiency
- A natural inclination toward collaboration and flexibility โ you roll up your sleeves, lean into ambiguity, and do whatโs needed to help the team and company grow
Responsibilities
- Own relationships with key partners, acting as the primary point of contact
- Develop strategic partner plans with clear goals, workstreams, and success metrics
- Lead recurring check-ins with partner and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely follow-through on commitments
- Identify and evaluate new potential partners aligned with our go-to-market and product strategy
- Ensure ongoing alignment with internal strategy and priorities, even if priorities change
- Drive internal understanding and prioritization of partner-related opportunities and requirements. Maintain a policy of โno surprisesโ for your internal stakeholders
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Partner Experience to ensure partnership activation initiatives are aligned and executed effectively
- Establish governance frameworks to support partner programs at scale
- Manage detailed plans for each partnership workstream, tracking progress, blockers, and outcomes
- Support partner-related onboarding, enablement, and knowledge-sharing across internal teams
- Collaborate with leadership to present regular reviews to internal and external stakeholders
- Host quarterly business reviews with partners, as appropriate. Develop internal processes and use existing tools where possible to create a scalable QBR plan
