Strategic Solutions Engineering Manager

Summary

Join Cloudflare as a Strategic Solutions Engineering Manager in Austin - West and lead cross-functional technical activities for customers, manage a team of SEs, and partner with Sales and Customer Success.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or another related field or its equivalent
• 8+ years of experience with internet technologies / protocols and / or cloud technologies
• Experience managing opportunity sales cycles and identifying technical proof activities
• Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementation and driving best practices with cross functional organizations
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully building collaboration around important initiatives
• Successful track record of working and influencing matrixed organizations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer focus

Responsibilities

• Manage cross functional, full sales life cycle technical activities for Cloudflare customers
• Lead a team of SEs that are geographically distributed in the Western US, from Seattle to Arizona
• Partner with the West Sales team and Customer Success to provide value of Cloudflare products to customers and prospects
