Join AKQA as a Freelance Strategy Director and lead the development and execution of digital strategies focused on B2B lead generation for a key client. This two-month, full-time freelance role starting mid-August requires strategic leadership, client partnership, and digital experience design expertise. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience in digital strategy, ideally with finance clients, and demonstrates strong product strategy, design thinking, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills. Requirements
- A proven track record of over 10 years in digital strategy, with significant experience in building and optimizing digital experiences for B2B lead generation
- Strong proficiency in product strategy and design thinking, with a deep understanding of how technology shapes business, brands, and customer relationships in digital environments
- Ability to understand and navigate the dynamics of a clientβs business and the sector in which it operates, with an objective-focused and positive approach
- A strong commitment to driving measurable business outcomes and consistently seeking improvements
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to partner effectively with senior clients and lead cross-disciplinary teams
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a high degree of flexibility and fluidity in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of digital strategies specifically designed to drive B2B lead generation for our clients, building customer personas, journeys, lead generation funnel strategies and content approaches
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, providing strategic direction and leadership, and proactively identifying opportunities to drive client value and new revenue
- Provide strategic direction on product and experience initiatives, identifying key value propositions, consumer needs, and business value, with a strong emphasis on digital environments
- Leverage a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to generate original insights, ensuring strategies are rooted in deep understanding of business, brands, and customer interactions
- Partner closely with creative, UX, analytics, and technology teams to ensure strategic recommendations are translated into distinctive, effective, and actionable digital experiences, products, and services
- Clearly and persuasively communicate complex strategic recommendations to internal and external audiences with varying levels of understanding
- Contribute to identifying and exploring cutting-edge trends and methodologies in digital strategy, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry
