Summary

Join WinnCompanies as a Subsidy Coordinator and ensure timely submission of Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) requests and TRACS files. You will post subsidy payments, work with Operations to resolve TRACS errors, and assist with training. Responsibilities include investigating TRACS errors, assisting with EIV compliance, and monitoring compliance percentages. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of related experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. This remote-eligible role offers a regular Monday-Friday schedule and a competitive hourly rate.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 - 3 years of related work experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Demonstrated organizational and record keeping skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Investigate TRACS errors and collaborate with Contract Administrators and Operations to resolve as necessary
  • Assist with teaching and training to new users or existing Rent software users with TRACS preparation and submission, as well as proper completion of certifications and error corrections, when necessary or upon request
  • Submit HAP requests and TRACS files. Post subsidy funds upon receipt
  • Assist sites with Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) compliance, including but not limited to processing repayment plans, running, storing, and/or investigating and resolving EIV report findings as needed
  • Monitor compliance percentage in TRACS, communicate concerns to Operations and collaborate on ways to improve the compliance percentage
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • COS and/or CPO certifications
  • Prior experience in affordable housing management, either as an onsite Property Manager at a HUD subsidized property, or in a centralized subsidy billing environment
  • Knowledge of the OneSite software system
