Summary

Join Wpromote as the SVP of Paid Media and spearhead performance, execution, and innovation across multiple channels. Requirements

  • 15+ years of paid media experience in an advertising agency, with a focus on scaling teams and revenue growth
  • Strong expertise with full funnel media planning/activation, multi-channel experience (search, social, programmatic, retail marketplace, Linear TV, OOH, Radio, etc)
  • Deep understanding of performance media channels (Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, Snap, etc)
  • 8+ years of leadership experience, preferably managing large, distributed teams of 100+, with a strong track record in remote team management
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and respond to situations quickly
  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Strategic & analytical thinking
  • Ability to define high-level media strategies while ensuring tactical execution aligns with business goals
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong grasp of media effectiveness metrics

  • Deep understanding of media measurement, attribution, and performance marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring large, high-performance teams

Responsibilities

  • Redefine paid media at Wpromote, shifting from a performance marketing focus to a full-funnel approach that seamlessly integrates brand marketing through creative and data-driven insights
  • Enhance paid media operations by leveraging AI-driven solutions, maximizing efficiency, and enabling the team to focus on high-impact strategic initiatives
  • Advance media planning, analysis, and measurement to drive CTV and full-funnel investment strategies, positioning Wpromote as an industry leader in modern media execution
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing cross-channel media team, ensuring operational excellence and collaboration with creative, analytics, and client services teams
  • Providing growth mapping & goal setting, and performing annual formal performance reviews
  • Refining and evolving the go-to-market strategy, aligning paid media initiatives with marketing, sales, and internal team objectives
  • Leading new business efforts, crafting compelling media strategies that win and retain high-value clients
  • Fostering an environment of cross-functional learning and development, ensuring paid media strategies are aligned with evolving client needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, strategy, earned media, client services, and data strategy & analytics to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to campaign performance
  • Overseeing and optimizing the paid media P&L, ensuring financial health and strategic investment allocation
  • Bridging team and business needs, balancing operational demands with strategic priorities while managing expectations across C-suite and paid media teams
  • Championing a test-and-learn approach to drive data-driven improvements and discover new growth opportunities
  • Communicating vision, goals, and key client successes, ensuring alignment and engagement across the organization
  • Providing industry POVs, identifying market shifts on paid media, emerging platforms, and new technologies to inform media strategies and proactively adapting paid media operations to stay ahead of trends
  • Developing and championing thought leadership, crafting insights for both internal teams and external audiences to position Wpromote as an industry leader

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in growth marketing, direct-to-consumer (D2C), B2B, and brand-building campaigns across multiple verticals
  • Ability to sell in media strategies, effectively communicate complex insights to C-level stakeholders, and drive client confidence
  • Passion for innovation, emerging media, and leveraging AI and automation to enhance media efficiency
