System Engineer

You will also guide colleagues, support internal processes, monitor usage, and communicate with various teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience is similar area is necessary
• Fluent in English is mandatory, German would be advantage
• Linux & Scripting Knowledge
• AWS, Google- & Azure-Cloud
• Web (Protocols, Paradigms, Security, …)
• Networks, Firewall etc
• Incident Management via Snow, Jira, Git, Docker
• Agile mindset
• Experience working within the EU IT regulatory framework
• High level of abstraction
• Openness for improvements and bringing efficiencies on apps
• Knowledge of data privacy (GDPR) and German workers' council agreements
• Good understanding systems architecture

Responsibilities

• Ensure security & data privacy concepts to be implemented EU and German regulations
• Documentation
• Ensure that the service is further developed, working and proactively tackle arising problems
• Standardizing, innovating, automating
• Setup monitoring or usage evaluation
• Guide colleagues through the order/approval process
• Support internal processes
• Monitor usage (e.g. costs) or cloud enhancements to proactively propose improvements in the cloud usage
• Communication with other teams and with stakeholders
