Summary

Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of experience with Windows System Administration and/or Engineering
  • Have experience with PowerShell, Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO)

Responsibilities

  • Manage Windows Servers in a large enterprise environment (Virtualization, AD, DNS, DHCP, etc)
  • Work with programming/scripting languages such as PowerShell
  • Communicate effectively and coordinate/collaborate with multiple IT teams within a large infrastructure
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Orchestration technologies such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SCORCH, etc
  • Patch and deploy applications via automated tools such as SCCM, Tanium, Ansible
  • Build servers using automated processes
  • Provide operational and technical support to ensure ongoing stability to the server environments
  • Contribute to the IT infrastructure design and lead in server implementations
  • Contribute to the technical support of the server environment and the applications residing on these servers
  • Audit system resources as deemed necessary by the Senior/Lead Systems Engineers
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Schedule, test, and implement enhancements or new releases of the server Operating Systems
