Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Construction Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 3 Years of experience with FlexSim, AnyLogic or similar discrete event simulation software
  • Strong skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and production performance tracking
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or VBA for Excel macros to automate simulations and data processing
  • Familiarity with production and smart manufacturing processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate detailed simulation models in FlexSim to optimize workflows for production, logistics and site installation of factory products
  • Validate simulation models by comparing outputs with real-world data and continuously refining models to improve accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing challenges and implement data-driven solutions
  • Collect and report production KPIs, including cycle time, throughput, resource utilization, and efficiency
  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct "what-if" scenario analyses to test and evaluate the impact of process changes, layout adjustments, and resource allocations
  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize performance, simulation results, and process improvements
  • Provide recommendations and insights based on simulation findings and production data to enhance automation and efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and smart manufacturing best practices
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in simulation, and factory automation to drive innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques
  • Experience with SQL, databases, or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Knowledge of Prefabrication and Home building industry
  • Previous experience in simulating manufacturing and logistics processes
  • Knowledge of sustainable manufacturing principles and their integration into production processes
