Talent Acquisition Intern

Summary

Join Bertram Capital's Talent Acquisition team as a summer intern and gain hands-on experience in recruiting and human resources within a private equity firm. This remote internship, available in select states, offers the opportunity to support the entire hiring process, from identifying top talent to improving candidate experience. You will assess candidates, communicate with them throughout the process, assist with administrative tasks, research recruitment strategies, and contribute to various Talent Acquisition projects. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, possessing excellent communication skills and familiarity with HR technology. The internship runs from June 9th to August 8th, 2025, with a 20-hour per week commitment and a compensation of $30 per hour.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other HR technology/reporting tools
• Experience with Microsoft suite
• Exceptional detail orientation as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
• High integrity in working with confidential information

Responsibilities

• Assess candidates and make recommendations for potential fit for an open position
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process ensuring a timely, courteous, and professional experience
• Assist with administrative functions such as document creation and collection for candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Research and create action plans for future recruitment efforts
• Assist with other projects related to Talent Acquisition
